Lee came to me back around 1968 and said he had an apartment building that I REALLY needed to buy. I told him I didn't have any money and he said he'd finance it for me. So Les Sachs and I bought the eight-unit apartment building full of UA students from him with a quick claim and paid Lee by the month. Les moved in and after a while, when it was apparent that the place really needed rewiring to meet code, I sold my interest to Les. Les may still own it today. I don't know though, for I haven't seen nor heard from Les in nearly forty years! Lee sold it to us for a song and I always appreciated that. Always enjoyed dealing with old Lee.
